High-Speed Balancing of Rotors

High Speed Balancing of Rotors

Balancing is defined as the process by means of which the mass distribution about the spin axis is checked and is corrected, if necessary, so that the bearing forces and the vibrations of the shaft corresponding to running frequency are within specified limits. Unbalance is one of the factors which causes vibrations in the rotating machine. Balancing eliminates vibrations caused by unbalance and ensures Safety of the Rotating Equipment.

Triveni's state of art manufacturing facility has 2 Vacuum Balancing Tunnels with a maximum rotor capacity of 55 Tons with a length of 11 meters, 4.1 meters diameter and a speed of 12,000RPM.
